Le numérique au service de la vie syndicale
A study published in the scientific journal Industrial Relations at Laval University highlights the important role that digital technologies can play in the evolution of union practices. Beyond improving administrative efficiency, the researchers found that digital tools can help:
improve the flow of information within unions;
increase member participation and engagement;
facilitate the distribution of union communications;
support the renewal of democratic practices within union organizations.
This Quebec-based study reminds us that digital transformation is about more than modernizing management tools. It can also contribute to a more dynamic, participatory, and connected union environment.
